the 4G variant of the POCO M4 Pro dropped in Pakistan on schedule today. The phone is a rebranded version of a recent Redmi Note — a series known for delivering high-value features on a budget. And the M4 Pro is no different. It follows closely after the release of POCO M4 Pro 5G (already available in Pakistan) and offers a best-in-class display.

The Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro is the first in the M series to rock an AMOLED screen. It features a sharp, punchy contrast ratio, 1000 nits of flagship-grade brightness, and a wide DCI-P3 color gamut. Plus, the 1080P display operates on a responsive 180Hz touch sampling and smooth 90Hz refresh rate. POCO has also built a certified eye protection filter into the screen.

MediaTek Helio G96 handles all the number-crunching inside the POCO M4 Pro. It’s a high-performance 4G chip, hooked to 6/8GB of extended RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. LiquidCool tech keeps the phone from overheating.

A massive 5000 mAh battery powers everything on the new addition to the Xiaomi price list. POCO promises 31 hours of calling, 22 hours of video streaming, and 140 hours of music playback out of a single charge. 33W charging support delivers speedy top-ups. MIUI 12 x Android 11 runs on this hardware (old-gen, bloated software is one of the few corners POCO often cuts.)

The POCO M4 Pro casing is flat and sharp around the edges, containing a power button doubling as a thumbprint scanner, dual speaker system, 3.5mm audio jack, and IR Blaster. You can choose from Power Black, POCO Yellow, and Cool Blue editions.

Lastly, the radical camera plate houses 64MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide-angle, and 2MP macro lenses. The system can shoot in Natural HDR, Night, and 64MP modes. We find a 16MP front camera embedded inside the O-hole cutout. POCO M4 Pro starts from Rs. 44999.
