Brand’s prepping to launch its new Oppo Reno 8T 4G in the Philippines on February 8th. Thanks to its official online listing, we already know how the device looks. Until now, there was little to know about its specs. Yesterday’s leaked set of live images gave away its CPU and revealed some crucial details about the model.

Pictures leaked on the web show the About device menu of Reno8T 4G. Assigned with model number CPH2481, the smartphone boasts Helio G99 SoC powering the all-new Android 13-based ColorOS 13.

Its screen size is 6.43 inches, likely an AMOLED build. In the display menu of 8T, the image shows a 90Hz refresh rate at high and 60Hz refresh in the standard setting. There’s no “Auto Refresh Rate” option here, which means the variable refresh rate doesn’t exist, may be due to the mid-range OPPO mobile price point. On the status tray, one of the icons indicates NFC support with the device.

Its camera setup includes 100MP primary sensor assisted with dual 2MP sensors. For selfies, Reno8T has a 32MP shooter in a punch-hole upfront. Previous 8T renders exuded the phone in Sunset Orange and Midnight black colorways. Live shots here are of the sunset orange variant.

In the hands-on image, it poses with a leather back design with two black silos popping out of the shell housing three cameras and a flash. The design looks familiar, likely borrowed from Oppo F21 Pro 4G. Its Helio G99 SoC comes with 8GB physical and 8GB virtual memory extended from its 256GB storage.

Reno8T 4G has a slightly pricier 5G sibling carrying a flagship-like curved screen with a centered punch hole and a 5G-ready Snapdragon 695 SoC under the hood. Reno8T 5G will unveil in the first week of February before its 4G sibling’s launch, and we’ll cover it in an in-depth review once it’s out. So stay tuned.
