Oppo F19 Pro+ Spotted on Google ARCore Supported Devices List; The Launch is Expected this Month

Oppo is soon refreshing their design-focused F-series. The early details have started surfacing, giving us a tentative launch date and a brand new successor to the Oppo F17 lineup. Much like the Reno5 Pro+, the new F19 series is introducing a top-end variant this year. This F19 Pro+ was found listed in a Google database.

Folks over at MySmartPrice first uncovered the Oppo F19 Pro Plus buried in the list of devices that support Google ARCore — a development platform for augmented reality apps. We’re not given any relevant information but, the fact that it’s listed right next to the Find X3 flagships is telling.

The “Pro+” name points to high-end specifications. MediaTek chips have traditionally powered the F-series and, unless Oppo plans on switching to Qualcomm, the OPPO F19 shouldn’t be the exception. In that context, the latest line of 5G Dimensity chips would be the obvious choice.

Ice Universe, citing inside sources, has previously predicted that the F19 lineup uses telephoto cameras. Their 65W fast-charging is a feature generally Oppo reserves for premium phones, so it’s also in the cards for the F19 Pro+.

Prior to the Google ARCore report, Tushar Mehta of XDADevelopers had tweeted that the next F-series will launch this month in India. The Reno5 Pro+ followed weeks after the Reno5 and Reno5 Pro launch; the Oppo F19 Pro could adopt the same schedule. At any rate, It’s going to be a busy month for Oppo: introducing the F19 and the flagship Find X3 series in the following weeks.
