OPPO A74 4G and 5G Variants' Product Images Leaked; Key Specifications, Color Options, and Design

Oppo has been churning out budget A-series phones like clockwork this year, and it’s soon adding another one to that collection. Oppo A74, the sibling to the Popular Oppo A53 and a sequel to the still-recent A73 handset, has already cleared many certifications. And ahead of its expected launch, the phone’s product images leaked online.

Courtesy of the Dutch publication, MobielKopen, we’ve learned Oppo A74’s dimensions, internal specifications, and color options. The phone has a forgettable, reused design: a chamfered plastic shell, a hole-punch cutout in the screen, and a standard triple-camera setup packed in a squarish housing.

At 8.4mm of thickness and a weight of 190g, the Oppo A74 isn’t as lightweight or slim as the phones from Oppo’s F-series. Even though they both have the same build, the Oppo A74 will be available in an LTE and 5G edition.

Naturally, two different chipsets power the latest Oppo mobiles, but their specifics are unclear right now. Oppo A74 4G comes in Prism Black and Midnight Blue; the 5G variant in Space Silver and Fluid Black.

The duo features a 6.8” screen and the latest Android11-based ColorOS 11. The base storage is 128GB, the battery capacity is 5000 mAh, and the device fast-charges over 33W. The text on the camera plate reads 48MP. The other two lenses aren’t specified. But to venture an educated guess, we’re looking at a pair of low-res depth and macro sensors.

Oppo A74 has secured certifications from the American FCC, Indian BIS, Russian EEC, and Indonesian TKDN, so the two phones should be launching globally soon.
