OPPO allegedly has two newborn daily drivers in its pipeline, and the launch seems imminent. Smartphones dubbed OPPO A58 5G and A98 5G have been making headlines lately. The former had its key specs leaked two days ago. And now, the chain’s A58 got debunked with a complete feature set plus renders.

Leaked via 91mobile, the renders of the all-new sequel to the OPPO A57 4G have been doing rounds of the internet showcasing a new design and camera assortment on the back. There’s a side-facing fingerprint scanner popping out of the right flat edge. Renders came along with A58’s presumptive specs.

Towards the front, a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel spans edge-to-edge across Oppo A58 5G’s chassis. Its resolution will tap out at 720p/HD+, followed by a 90Hz refresh rate. A v-notch bleeds down into the screen from the top to hide an 8MP selfie camera.

Being Oppo's new 5G model, The A58 presumably comes mounted with Dimensity 700 SoC. Its performance is sub-optimal at best but used alongside an 8gigs LPDDR4X RAM; it should have a competitive edge over its rivals. Three storage/RAM combos will range between 6-8GB RAM and 128-256GB storage. In addition to UFS 2.2-based prebuild storage, it might support an SD card.

For optics, users will find an insanely overpowered dual-camera setup on the A58 by OPPO, powered by a Samsung 50MP sensor and a 108MP auxiliary unit. Two disc-shaped black silos on the back will house these sensors individually.

Rated for 33W charging, OPPO A58 5G is likely housing an underwhelming 3880mAh cell under the hood. The successor will bear the treasured 3.5mm audio jack and three colorways advertised as Tranquil Sea Blue, Breeze Purple, and Starry Sky Black.
