The Oppo A16e presents itself as a compelling choice for consumers on a budget. However, the phone's affordability took a hit in the Pakistani market, with recent price surges pushing it to a staggering Rs 45,000. That is changing now, as the company has decided to shave off a few thousand rupees from its cost, making it more accessible to average individuals.

Oppo A16e's 4+64GB variant makes a triumphant return to the spotlight, now adorned with a splendid discount of Rs 5,000 from its original cost. The enticing new offer positions the device at Rs 39,999, which is far more acceptable for a device of this pedigree. Here’s a quick overview of its specs.

Nestled within the Oppo A16e is a robust MediaTek Helio P22 Chip, slightly under-clocked compared to the original Oppo A16’s Helio G35. The A16e also makes certain compromises in other areas.

The latest Oppo budget mobile features a singular 13MP wide camera, accompanied by a supplementary (AI) sticker lens, deviating from the triple-lens setup found in its predecessor. Additionally, the front camera resolution has been reduced to 8MP. Regarding battery capacity, Oppo has opted for a smaller 4,230 mAh size. Connectivity-wise, the phone is equipped with a dated micro-USB port.

On the contrary, the reduced battery size on Oppo A16e contributes to a significantly lighter overall profile. The handset includes a sleek 7.8mm slim body and scales the weight to approximately 175 grams.

Its display features a sleek V-notch seamlessly blending into the frontal side, while a substantial chin frames the screen from the bottom. Sitting in between is a 6.52-inch IPS LCD that delivers a 720P resolution, peaks at a mediocre pixel density, and fills a 20:9 aspect ratio.
