Carl Pei didn’t share the exact launch date for Nothing Phone (4a) and (4a) Pro in last week’s YouTube sitdown. So the leaker, Yogesh Brar, stepped in to shine a light on that subject. These two phones will possibly launch at the start of next month. Here’s what we know.

Brar has just added a post on X/Twitter today. He suggested that Nothing Phone (4a) and (4a) Pro are going to launch on March 5th. That is within the first week of next month. The leaker has a solid track record with such predictions, so the media is giving him the benefit of the doubt.
What the leaker said in the leak were actually the talking points in the CEO’s YouTube interview. That is how we knew these details were accurate. Nothing CEO revealed that the (4a) duo is upgrading the storage to UFS 3.1 this year. This is a quality-of-life upgrade, not just a spec bump.

There’s obviously a new design for these Nothing new A models, although they haven’t really exposed it yet. And we know that a bigger battery awaits both Phone (4a) devices. There’s a plan to use new Snapdragon chips on these newcomers. But there’s a catch to all these upgrades.

Carl Pei said that the skyrocketing RAM prices will force Nothing to increase the Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro’s price tags. The surge in RAM demand and short supply is taking a toll, and smartphone companies will take a hit too. That was also one of the talking points in the video.

Instead of keeping the same phone prices and lowering component quality, Nothing will rather increase the prices to maintain quality. There’s a potential for better cameras on these newcomers, but no specifics are mentioned in the YouTube video.
There was an appearance in the EU database where Nothing Phone (4a) Pro was listed with a bigger 5,080 mAh battery and 1,400 charge cycles. The charging speed will remain 50W, though. This newcomer is now rated IP65. We’ll see if Yogesh Brar’s prediction about the launch window pans out. Keep watching the news for more updates.
