A fresh leak gave away some interesting details about the company’s next flagship, the Nothing Phone (3). It includes the device’s pricing info and a surprise mention of a new product called the Headphone (1). Curiously, the leak comes on the heels of an earlier report indicting Nothing’s move away from the iconic Glyph Interface.
According to the leaked information shared on Bluesky, Nothing is going to offer the Phone (3) in at least two colors, which are your typical Black and White choices. There’s also a mention of two storage options in the leak. The base variant gets 12/256GB, and the higher-end option bumps it up to 16/512GB memory.
The upsized RAM also gives a nod to a previous theory saying Nothing Phone (3) will be a proper flagship. Of course, the leaked pricing reflects the same thing. Expectedly, this new device might cost €850 or roughly $910 depending on the exchange rates at the time of launch.
This is a competitive price, especially if the Nothing Phone's latest model is actually the flagship device that the rumors are making it out to be. It might rival Google’s Pixel 9 Pro and Samsung/OnePlus devices in a similar price bracket. Nothing’s CEO has confirmed that the price for Phone (3) will go up this year, and so will the quality of the device.
This new strategy could finally establish Nothing as a premium smartphone brand, which the Nothing Phone (2) failed to do in 2023. Also, Nothing is suspected of phasing out its iconic Glyph Interface with the new flagship phone. That puts the brand’s entire identity in a tricky position.
Since Nothing’s whole identity was wrapped up in their smartphone designs, we are curious to see what comes after their iconic Glyph-infused transparent builds. The leak doesn’t end there, as Roland Quandt from Bluesky mentions Headphone (1) as the company’s brand-new product line.
Nothing is expanding its horizons after the success it gained from Ear (1) and Ear (2) wireless buds. Making a move to the headphone market only seems logical. Headphone (1) is suspected to cost €300 with Black and White color options.
Nothing has officially become a part of the Pakistani smartphone market, so the Phone (3) does have the potential to debut in the region. There’s no official confirmation yet, but we might be hearing from the company soon. The handset is only one month away from launch, suspected in July.
