Nothing Phone (3) Design Leak Reveals no Glyph Interface & Smaller Camera Island

Nothing Phone (3) will be the first proper flagship the company ever built. It’s due for launch in a few weeks, likely on July 1st, so Nothing hasn’t revealed its design entirely.  The official teasers only gave up the handset’s design in close-up shots. However, thanks to a new leak, we have an image that exposes the Phone (3) in full view.

We already know that Nothing is trying to ditch the Glyph Interface with its Phone (3). The leaked render by Max Jambor confirms that. But there are still some questions that need answering. The camera island looks suspiciously small for a flagship device.

If you remember the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, it has a huge camera ring on the back protruding out of the body. The reason why it’s so prominent is because it uses a periscope 3x telephoto on the back that needs a lot of room. The Phone (3), which is a pricier device, should have the same, or a better camera.

Nothing Phone new model indeed has no glyph interface, as the Ceo Carl Pei already confirmed. But that doesn’t mean it will be completely bare-bone. The company intends to replace the Glyph lights with a Dot-LED matrix. This is something we have seen before on some Asus ROG phones.

The leaked render doesn’t show where exactly the dot LED matrix lies on the transparent back. We might have to wait for some more images to point that out. This is only an early preview, and there’s a lot more to come before the device officially arrives.

Carl Pei already gave away the Phone 3’s price in one of his videos. It will be sold in the UK for 800 pounds, or roughly $1,080/€945, depending on the region. That’s a flagship price, but will it offer the same experience as other premium devices in the segment?

The Nothing CEO recently confirmed in a video that the device is made of premium material, and we’ll see a major performance bump over the last generation. According to Pei, the Nothing software has also leveled up to improve the user experience. With the launch closing in fast, the company might tease the Phone (3) design and other details soon. Stick around if you want to stay in the loop.
