Motorola Edge 70 Fusion debuted in Pakistan quite recently. But that’s hardly the only model. The global market actually has over three Edge 70 versions, and they are working on yet another device in the series called the Motorola Edge 70 Neo. This newcomer was listed on Geekbench today, and this is everything we learned.
Motorola Edge 70 Neo has a decent enough chip. We’d put it squarely in the midrange. Though it might raise some eyebrows with low RAM. The version tested at Geekbench actually has 6GB of memory. Then again, we are going through a RAM crisis right now. They may not have a choice.
The phone’s SoC is from Qualcomm. More specifically. This is the QTISM7635, which is better known as a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Well, that’s the exact chip they brought to the Motorola latest Edge mobile We know that it’s a 4nm SoC with eight cores.
The single power core on the SD 7s Gen 3 will boost the clock to 2.5 GHz, and the three balance cores hit 2.4 GHz. This chip is good enough to yield 723 points on the single primary core. And it pushes those scores to 2943 when all eight cores are tested.
Again, the memory section on the scoresheet confirmed 6GB of RAM for the Edge 70 Neo. Of course, they might have other variants. But this right here is going to be the base RAM config. By the way, Motorola doesn’t really have an official Android 17 home OS, so the Edge 70 Neo is stuck with the old OS.
They’ll put Android 16 and stock Android firmware on the Edge 70 Neo. They usually sprinkle in some custom features and camera tuning in the default software that we are all too familiar with.
