Itel City 200 Launched in Pakistan with Thin Body, Tough Design & 120Hz Display

Itel debuted the City 200 back in February. The device has landed in Pakistan almost a month later. It’s an entry-tier phone with a big battery and a thin 7.45mm design. This newcomer has a lot going for it at a very cheap price. It might be worth looking. This is everything you need to know.

This City 200 has a vertical camera deco on the back. The shell is plastic, but the camera island is made of metal. City 200 is completely flat, the sides are raised, and the body is only 7.45mm thin. They’ve obviously put considerable effort into the newcomer’s design.

A dual-lens module is used on the back. But it’s only a single functioning camera. The main shooter is 50MP. Itel City 200 has a punch hole where the 8MP selfie camera is found. They’ve added dual video mode to the City 200 for the first time.

You can record from the front and back simultaneously. That’s something not many entry-level phones can offer. Sadly, you can’t record more than 1080p @30FPS on this device. The processor is too weak to handle anything above that resolution.

It’s the same Unisoc T7250 processor itel has been using for a while on its budget phones. That’s a 1.8GHz chip. Its Mali-G57 iGPU is here for light gaming. But limited RAM could cripple the phone’s performance. Pakistani Itel City 200 has only 4GB of physical RAM. And the storage is 128GB.

The screen seems to be a 6.78” IPS LCD with just a 720p resolution. The panel is overclocked to 120Hz. UI will feel smooth as far as the processor allows. Itel’s product description for the City 200 was a bit confusing as we reached the battery stats.

The quick highlights say 6,000 mAh battery, yet the description clearly states 5200 mAh battery (1600 cycles). The latter is more plausible. 18W is the maximum charging support here. Itel City 200 is certified for a 1.5-meter drop safety rating and an IP65 waterproof design. The handset’s price in Pakistan is Rs 27,999 for the single 4/128 GB memory trim.
