Itel A95 5G Goes Official with 120Hz Display and New AI-Powered Assistant

Itel has just unveiled a new A-series device globally with 5G support and a bunch of useful AI features. The phone is called “Itel A95 5G” and is unveiled as a replacement for the company’s 6-month-old A80. We see an upgraded chip and improved durability, which makes the A95 a worthy successor to all its forerunners.

Its special highlight seems to be the new design, which is rated IP54, according to the adverts. As you can tell from the images, this handset has a flat profile, thin bezels, and rounded edges. The Itel A95 is painted in at least three different colors: Mint Green, Black, and Gold.

It seems the Itel A95 is also getting recognition for its display quality. From what we’ve gathered, the panel used here is a 6.67” 720p IPS with a Panda Glass layer on top. It should keep the screen safe from minor scratches and drops. There’s also a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling on this display to make it responsive.

Itel new 5G mobile will grant users access to an Android 14 OS out of the box wrapped in an itel OS 14 skin. No Android 15 support is to be seen in the Itel A series yet. But, credit where credit’s due, the company does provide some new AI features here, like the AI Assistant Aivana, AI grammar check, text generation, content discovery, and a few other options.

It’s also a 5G model with Dimensity 6300 SoC, which means it should put out mid-tier performance both in gaming and CPU-intensive tasks. The new SoC might even enhance the image post-processing for the front and back cameras. Resolution-wise, the lens on the front is an 8MP shooter, and on the back lies a 50MP primary camera.

The phone’s 6nm octa-core chip plugs into a 5000mAh battery, which you can recharge at a standard 10W input. There’s an SD card support here and a side fingerprint reader with 4GB RAM for the base variant and up to 6GB RAM on the more expensive option. In both cases, the storage is limited to 128GB. Price-wise, the Itel A95 5G starts at around $112 (~PKR 31,000) and the second, more expensive option costs $117 (~PKR 33,000). The company might soon deploy this device in other markets, so stay tuned for more updates.
