Itel A200 series was unveiled in February, but it took them months to deploy one of the phones in Pakistan. Itel A200 Plus has now reached the stores in the local market, though the base Itel A200 is still in limbo, which may or may not launch in the future. The “Plus” version we have here is a 4G model with sub-entry-level specs. This is everything you need to know.

This newcomer is at the first rank in the series. Itel City 200 doesn’t count since it’s a separate lineup. The phone has a way larger 6000mAh battery and 18W charging. They’ve put a Unisoc T7250 SoC onboard, and an Android 15 Go setup can be found on this newcomer.

The hardware is exactly the kind you would expect on a cheap low-end phone. But the Itel new A mobile has a really flashy design to make up for it. Looks-wise, they copy-pasted the iPhone 17 Pro’s design here. The extruded slit in the backplate with a matte texture on an all-glossy frame is all too familiar.

The older itel A90 (8.6mm) looked a lot different. You can tell that the design has changed. The camera layout is different too, and so is the phone’s thickness, which is 8.29mm. Don’t get too wound up in the rear design. The phone looks way cheaper on the front.

They’ve put a 6.75” screen on the Itel A200 Plus, which has a deep notch on it. It’s only a 720p HD+ IPS LCD. The visuals will be quite soft, but at least it has a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth motion. This newcomer also has an IP65 rating and 1.8m drop protection.

Audio tuning is from DTS. But it’s a single speaker. They’ve somehow put dual video mode on the A200 Plus. 1080p 30FPS recording is possible. There are a bunch of AI features on the OS, so it isn’t just a bare-bones stock firmware. The main camera is 13MP, and you get a 5MP selfie up front.

You have an instant transfer tool here (partial NFC implementation). And the UltraLink Free Call (2Km) service can help you do radio calls with peer phones. It has a side fingerprint reader on the power key. Itel A200 Plus will cost Rs. 29,999 in Pakistan for the 4/128GB memory trim, which they advertise as 8GB* virtual + physical RAM and 128GB storage.
