Itel continues to push more and more budget devices from its A line. The brand cycles through a series every six months. A few short weeks ago, the local market was introduced to the itel A90. And now its successor, the itel A100, has officially landed in Pakistan with a new design and upgraded chip.

Itel A100 has a minimal look with flat side rails and a completely blank rear panel, except for an itel logo at the bottom and three lenses floating on the shell. There’s one faux lens on the back. We get a dual camera setup with an 8MP main and an auxiliary sensor.

The display has a notched cutout that also features an 8MP selfie camera. Itel A100 uses the latest Android 15 system, but it’s lightweight “Go Edition” software overlaid by Itel OS 15 skin. There are three RAM options for the global market, each with similar storage, but the Pakistani market only receives one.

Itel's latest A model will offer 4GB RAM and 128GB storage in the local market. The reason itel chose the Android 15 Go system is the weak Unisoc T7250 at its core. If you’ve come across itel devices before, you already know these are strictly budget phones. Performance-wise, they sit on the lower end, so a lightweight OS is an advantage.

Itel A100’s screen has been advertised with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 6.75” diagonal size. This is an IPS LCD, by the way. Its resolution is locked to 720p, which is mediocre, but the brightness is above average at 700 nits, for a clear view under the sun.

The display colors reach 83% on the NTSC scale, and itel calibrated the itel A100 for accurate input with Wet and Oily hands. This newcomer has passed the Military Grade Shock resistance test and TUV’s IP65 dust/water protection ratings. Itel says, “it’s built to outlast life’s surprises.”

The A100 is backed by a 5000mAh battery, which plugs into a 15W wired fast charging adapter. The company spices up this device by adding itel AI, an IR remote, and the UltraLink Free calls feature. You can lock this phone down with a Face scanner or a side Fingerprint ID. The Itel A100 (4/128GB) officially costs Rs 22,999 in Pakistan.
