Two leaked videos were found today featuring the Apple iPhone 18 Pro. The phone is being drop-tested inside a controlled environment in both clips. There are no specifics about the test itself or what it yielded, but we did get to see the phone’s design in full glory. This is everything we learned.
The video confirms what we’ve been hearing all along. The iPhone 17 Pro and 18 Pro have almost the same design. Even the color matches the version being tested in said leak: Silver. You may have heard gossip that the iPhone 18 Pro might be thicker. Well, this seems to be true as well.
We’ll put both videos here for your viewing pleasure. This is exactly how the newcomer looks in real life: a three-lens stack on a huge camera bar and a full metal casing. This is probably an Aluminum build, same as last year. In this article, you can explore the complete Apple iPhone price list with the latest pricing information.
By the way, the videos were put online by @evleaks on X, though the leak can’t be tracked back to its original source, which does bring its validity into question. The videos could’ve made their way onto the web amid a massive ransomware attack on Apple.
Apparently, over 200,000 files were leaked on the dark web as a ransomware attack hit Apple’s manufacturing partner, Tata Electronics. They are doing everything possible to control the damage, but it’s too big a mess to clean up in one day. The videos may have been a part of the leaked data.
Now, the account where these videos were shared originally has been taken down, surely by Apple’s damage control team. The files had details about their supplier and component lists. And there may even be data/specs on the iPhone 18 Pro and Ultra handsets.
It’s obviously too late to put the genie back in the bottle. The files are now on the internet, and the leaks are only going to get more intense from this point onward. We’ll be here to report everything. Keep watching the news for more updates.
