Infinix Smart 8 and Smart 8 Plus are among the latest entry-level phones from the brand. Both came out with a wallet-friendly price, but one of them is now available at a heavy discount, making it more practical. The Smart 8 Plus (4/64GB) was previously retailing at Rs 26,000. But from now on, its price will be Rs 22,999.

With the slashed price, the phone loses almost Rs 3,000 from its tag, making it an attention-worthy device for the masses. The Smart 8 Plus features a powerful CPU, a long-lasting battery, and even great charging support. Let’s have a closer look.

To see what the Smart 8 Plus has to offer in terms of hardware, we’re looking at the performance-focused Helio G36. It’s powered by a massive 6000 mAh battery and thanks to underpowered hardware on the phone, it can last weeks on standby and full-day on extreme usage.

Unlike a typical budget phone, the Smart 8 Plus has a polished luxury design. Its screen is 6.52-inch and delivers an HD+ resolution peaking at 600 nits of brightness with a 90Hz refresh rate. A punch-hole cutout, featuring an 8MP selfie camera positions into the display of Infinix's latest budget mobile.

The brand’s entry-level phone supports 18W fast charging. Plus, the port uses the new USB-C standard. Android 13-based XOS 13 runs on the Infinix Smart 8 Plus right out of the box. And storage-wise it has a dedicated microSD card slot, 64GB onboard storage, and 4GB RAM for assistance.

Flip the phone over to find a flat curveless shell gashing into your hand. The backplate has a subtle rainbow finish and a squared camera housing. Infinix Smart 8 Plus uses a 50MP wide and a low-res 0.08MP auxiliary lens as its rear-camera setup. It comes in three different colors — Galaxy White, Shiny Gold, Timber Black.
