Another smartphone joins the long-running Infinix Note 12 series. The newcomer is a re-engineered version of Note 12i (unveiled back in May). Known as "Infinix Note 12i 2022," the device features a design refresh, a smaller screen, and revamped memory configurations.

Because the original Note 12i couldn't make it out of Kenya, introducing the all-new version, "Infinix Note 12i 2022," might be Infinix's strategy to launch it in other regions. Originating from Indonesia, the device has several exciting specifications to its name.

Unlike the original Note 12i, which has a 90Hz 6.82" AMOLED screen with a FullHD+ resolution, the new 2022 variant brings a smaller 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ panel and refresh rate presumably capped to 60Hz.

In addition to a brand new design, the new Note 12i comes in three color variations: black, silver, and blue. The Infinix Note new model 2022 is lightweight at 188 grams, with just 7.8mm thickness. As with the Note 12i, the 12i 2022 flaunts a 50MP primary camera with 2MP depth & QVGA sensors and an 8MP selfie snapper sitting inside a notch.

Furthermore, an Helio G85 processor lies at the core of Note 12i 2022. Added with a 5000mAh battery, it runs Android 12 x XOS 10.6 UI with a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a six-layered graphene cooling system.

In terms of RAM/ROM configuration, the Note 12i only packed 4GB + 128GB of storage, while the Note 12i 2022 has a broader range offering 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB options. Memory and storage, however, can expand using memory fusion and SDcard. Extras include Dual-SIM support, a 3.5mm jack, and a Type-C port rated for 33-watt fast charging.
