Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ to Beat Galaxy S25 Edge with Bigger Battery & Lighter Design

Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ gave away its design in one of the earlier leaks and showed how well it stacks up against the Galaxy S25 Edge. Both devices have sub-6mm profiles, and yet one of them has a surprisingly higher battery capacity than the other. These are the details we found from a leaked Hot 60 Pro+ image.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has been released already, and its battery size is no secret. There’s a 3900mAh cell inside this device to power everything up. The Hot 60 Pro+ is yet to launch, and we were surprised to learn that it has a power source rated at 5160mAh.

Both devices have nearly identical thicknesses. The Edge has a 5.8mm profile, and the Hot 60 Pro+ allegedly measures 5.95mm thin, all with curved edges and very little room for a battery. Still, the device is seen with a 5160mAh power pack, which has around 25% more capacity than the Galaxy S25 Edge.

Not just in the battery department, but the Hot 60 Pro+ also plans to humble the Galaxy Edge with a lighter weight. As you may already know, the Samsung phone is relatively heavy at 163.8 grams. Meanwhile, the new Infinix Hot model could measure as low as 154.6 grams on the weight scale.

The only way Infinix could install such a massive battery inside Hot 60 Pro+ is to use a Silicon-Carbon Li/ion pack. This tech has been gradually sweeping the Chinese market for a while now, and it’s perfect to preserve a phone’s thickness and allow more energy storage in the process.

Hot 60 Pro+ is potentially the thinnest curved phone in the world, preserving the legacy of its predecessor Hot 50 Pro+. The leaked shot also gave away some of its key specifications. The MyPhone space in Settings showed that the phone has a Helio G200 Ultimate chip.

There’s 8GB RAM on this new model and 256GB storage, likely UFS 2.1. The camera on the front is 13 MP, and the rear primary shooter has a 50 MP resolution. The screengrab also spilled the display’s 1080p resolution. Last but not least, we found out that it runs on Android 15 XOS 15.1 software. Looking at the specs, Infinix could position the Hot 60 Pro+ as a lower midrange device.
