Although a controversial concept in 2018, The Pop-Up camera mechanism turned out to be the most viable solution to offer a true bezeless experience. Huawei was the only one left out of the few prominent manufacturers who did not jump on to the pop-up camera bandwagon, but all that is about to change now.
According to the latest leak, the Huawei P Smart Z will be the company's first smartphone to offer a retractable front camera. Although the manufacturer continued betting on the notch up till the recent Huawei P30 Pro flagship, it's a great surprise to see a change in its strategy.
The handset measures 163.5 x 77.3 x 8.9mm and weighs only 197 grams. Huawei P Smart Z comes equipped with a 6.59 inches screen with an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9. According to the rumors, the screen has an IPS display with the screen resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a Kirin 710 chipset that further strengthens the phone as a solid mid-ranger.
In Addition, the upcoming handset features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB with a memory card. And if that's not enough, the new gadget packs a staggering 4000 mAh battery, that's enough to meet your needs.
At the back of the smartphone is a dual camera setup of 16 MP + 2-MP. The two cameras have an aperture size of f/1.8 and f / 2.4, respectively. At the front of the smartphone is a 16 MP selfie camera that slides out from the left side of the body, similar to OPPO F11 Pro and Vivo V15 Pro. The images of the device confirm the fingerprint reader to be located on the back instead of an in-display sensor.

The smartphone comes loaded with the latest Android Pie 9.0 operating system along with the EMUI 9.0 on top. The exact launch dates are not yet known but the rumors suggest the P Smart Z can get launched as soon as the end of May 2019. The price is expected to be around € 210 which translates to some 33,126 Pakistani rupees. Color options include Black Midnight Black, Green Emerald Green and Blue Sapphire Blue.
