Honor has made a comeback in Pakistan with two brand-new devices for the budget segment. We have an Honor X7c that leads the way with a bigger battery and a higher-end Snapdragon SoC. Then, there’s the cheaper Honor X6c, which uses a basic Helio chip and a standard battery size. Here’s the breakdown of all their specs, storage options, and prices.
Honor X7c
This device has arrived in Pakistan with a solo 8/256GB memory trim. Because this handset was launched in October last year, there’s only Android 14 (Magic OS 8) running on it by default. Honor X7c will offer much greater GPU and CPU performance with its Snapdragon 685 chip, which is a 2.8GHz (6nm) platform and still holds up pretty well among midrange phones.
However, its true strength is in the battery department. Honor has outfitted this model with a 6000mAh battery and 35W charging. One charge should last you a day and a half with ease. The X7c is rated IP64, completely safe from dust and protected from water splashes. SGS gave this phone a 5-star drop protection rating.
There’s a 108MP main camera on this phone, and it maps the portrait depth with a second 2MP sensor. This camera setup can take HDR photos, but its video recording isn’t all that impressive at 1080p 30FPS. On the front, it has a selfie camera of 8MP resolution. In all fairness, though, its official price tag justifies these specs.
The X7c has a larger footprint than its sibling at 6.77 inches. This is a TFT panel with a 120Hz refresh rate that comes with a pixel density of 261ppi on an ordinary HD+ 720p resolution. It has tempered glass for screen protection and side fingerprint ID for the lock screen. The Honor X7c costs Rs 44,999 in Pakistan.
Honor X6c
This device has a smaller footprint with a 6.61” TFT display, though it does offer the same 120Hz refresh rate and an HD+ 720p resolution. It cuts some corners in the camera department. The X6c’s selfie sensor is only 5MP, and the back camera drops the resolution to 50MP.
On both sides, you can record 1080p 30FPS videos and snap HDR shots. The processor running all this hardware is a Helio G81 Ultra chip with a 2.0GHz clock speed. The Honor X6c was released about a month ago, so it offers the latest Android 15 (Magic OS 9) out of the box.
This device is also secured with an IP64 rating and SGS 5-star drop protection. Its battery is weaker than the X7c at 5300mAh, but it gets the job done. You can expect a full day's use out of this device. The 35W charging speed is identical in both of these newcomers, and the same goes for the side fingerprint ID.
Among the two, it seems only the X6c has a dedicated “One-Click AI” button. The Honor X6c also has more storage options. The cheaper one with 6/128GB memory costs Rs 29,999, and the higher-end 6/256GB memory trim is priced at Rs 34,999.
