The upcoming Honor 9x series has already had its fair share of leaks until it finally got official in China just yesterday. Both the Honor 9x and the pro variant feature an All-view bezel-less display without any notch whereas the front snapper got tucked in a trendy pop-up module. The best, the part is yet to come. Not only the 9X series comes loaded with tons of features but the price seems reasonable as well.
Both phones are almost the same except for an additional third camera on the Honor 9x Pro. The handsets boast a metal build with a glass back where the coating below reflects the light in an X pattern to up the level of appeal.
Weighing 206 grams, both 9x by Honor and the pro variant boast the latest Kirin 810 processor under the hood. The duo is equipped with a 6.59 inch IPS LCD display that supports a Full HD+ (1,080 x 2,340) resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. While having the same 16MP pop-up front shooter, The rear camera setup and the memory are the departments where the actual difference lies.
The honor 9x will hit the markets with 4/6GB of Ram and 64/128GB of internal storage. However, a microSD can provide an extra 256 GB of capacity here. It has a setup of dual cameras on the back having a 48-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2 Megapixels depth sensor.
Honor 9x Pro, on the other hand, will have a triple camera setup, vertically arranged on the rear. It will consist of, the primary lens of 48-Megapixels with f/1.8 aperture, superwide lens of 8-Megapixel and a sensor of 2-Megapixels for depth effects. With the 9X Pro, the SoC has a liquid-cooling system that should make it even more powerful.
The Honor 9X will be available in black, blue and red, and the 9X Pro in black and purple. The basic Honor 9x 4GB variant is available in China at 1,399 Yuan which converts to some 33,000 Pakistani rupees while the Honor 9X pro costs 2,199 Yuan which translates to 51,500 PKR.
