Apple iPhone Fold Tipped with Three Storage Variants, RAM, and Pricing Details

Some new details have surfaced about the iPhone Fold, and they do not look pretty. For now, the rumor mill believes this folding device will launch in September alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series. And enough people have made the same claim that it seems legit. A tipster on Weibo airs another big rumor about the iPhone Fold’s pricing and storage.

Instant Digital keeps a close record of Apple’s supply chain moves. He has made another prediction about iPhone Fold’s price in China, and it seems way more expensive than the global market. Well, this kind of device is usually pricier than simple slab phones. But the Chinese iPhone Fold prices are exorbitant.

There are three possible versions. The base option floors the storage at 256GB. There is also a middle iPhone Fold storage at 512GB. Of course, the third version is built around 1TB of storage. Instant Digital reported the price of each trim. The numbers you are about to read are not for the global market. Based on the most recent available information for March 2026, here is the updated Apple iPhone price list.

iPhone Fold is absolutely slammed with inflated prices in China. The basic 256GB option is CNY 15,999 (~$2,300). And that’s just the start. The upgrade to 512GB storage will bump the cost to CNY 17,999 (~$2,600). iPhone Fold in a 1TB format is supposed to retail at CNY 19,999 (~$2,900).

We advise you to take these numbers with a grain of salt, as the leak has yet to garner validity. But as things stand right now, we haven’t seen any other credible source report on the prices or storage. MacRumors wrote about the potential global pricing of the iPhone Fold. They only talked about the base price.

MacRumors said the true MSRP of this device is actually $1,999. This newcomer may have variable prices per region, but if there are no external factors involved, that’s the price Apple intends for the iPhone Fold. And it’s right up the alley of other foldables in the market.

There was another report on the iPhone Fold that actually relates to today’s story. The Bell writes Apple has already put in the order for 12GB DRAM, and it’s being manufactured by Samsung Electronics. It seems the iPhone Fold has the LPDDR5X 12GB memory. Keep watching the news for more updates.
