ZTE Nubia V90 Pro was leaked today, and it’s getting attention for all the wrong reasons. It’s almost a perfect replica of the burgundy iPhone 18 Pro. It will be a budget phone, so no, the V90 Pro doesn’t have the aluminum chassis or the flagship display. But the uncanny resemblance is hard to ignore.
We’ll put the images throughout the post. This is leaked promotional material, by the way. So we have no reason to doubt the design or the specs Evan Blass reported. The camera stack on a huge camera bar and an almost perfect corner radius to match the iPhone would force you to look twice before you realize it’s a replica.
The side rails have a glossy coating that reminds us of early Titanium iPhones. And the backplates have a satin finish. There are three of them, by the way. Burgundy would tag along with Blue and Grey shades. The promo image had some specs in the bottom corner.
The ZTE new nubia mobile is actually pretty thin. It’s only 7.7 mm, and all three shades have a colored power key. The camera bar says 108MP camera. That would be the main sensor, though there are two more lenses on the back with unknown specs.
Your eyes don’t deceive you. It says 512GB Massive storage right there at the bottom. This means at least one of the Nubia V90 Pro variants has 512GB. Is it the only storage, or are there more? This will be answered in time, when ZTE decides to launch the V90 Pro.
ZTE Nubia V90 Pro has double the max storage of its older V80 Pro version. The screen has a thick chin. The bezels are uneven, though it does have a punch-hole. We suspect it’s just a garden-variety LCD panel, not an AMOLED.
They say it’s a 6.75” 1,000nits display. That’s usually the brightness of mainstream LCDs. AMOLEDs have higher figures. There were no other details in the X leak. We’ll hear from the company about the V90 Pro soon enough. Keep watching the news.
