ZTE Nubia V80 Pro Joins the Max Variant in Pakistan with Faster Chip, Smaller Battery

Nubia V80 Pro has also arrived in Pakistan after the V80 Max, though it’s priced a bit higher. It’s a 4G device with a faster Unisoc chip. The battery is a bit smaller here, but they make up for the difference with a 108MP camera and a 900p LCD. This is what the phone carries.

The design is a bit different. It’s a convincing iPhone 17 Pro replica, but in white paint. Nubia V80 Max is built around a 6.75” IPS LCD at 900 x 1940px resolution. It’s below 1080p, but the image should be crisp enough. The pixels are pushed at 120Hz, the same as V80 Max.

The Pro and Max ranks are flipped here. V80 Pro is actually a better device than the Max. That would explain the higher cost. There’s a faster Unisoc T7280 (6nm) chip here with a 2.2 GHz clock speed. Think Helio G100 level of performance. V80 Pro’s only trim in Pakistan has 8GB RAM.

ZTE wired it to 256GB of storage. So memory is the same on each device in this series. The OS is upgraded, by the way. ZTE's new Nubia model strings together the hardware with Android 16. We couldn’t find any info on the update path for the OS. But small brands like ZTE usually don’t offer much in that department.

Everything runs on a 5000mAh battery inside the V80 Pro. That’s an outdated standard. The endurance should be ordinary. The charging is also a garden-variety 22.5W input. The chassis is rated IP64 splashproof with full dust ingress protection.

The main lens on the camera deco is a 108MP shooter. There’s one decorative lens, and the other has an assistive sensor. The setup can’t do more than 1080p 30FPS recording, by the way. They’ve linked it to an 16MP selfie shooter on the front.

The fingerprint reader is on the side. They’ve added dual-band WiFi here with Bluetooth 5.3. There’s just a single speaker. Nubia V80 Pro is priced higher than the V80 Max, but not by a lot. It’s still quite affordable at Rs 44,999 for the single 8/256GB variant in Pakistan.
