The next big product from ZTE will be the Nubia V80 Max. It’s coming to Pakistan soon, and they’ve already listed the phone on the official site. No launch date or price tag has been confirmed so far. But we do know everything else about the phone. Here are the details.

Nubia Pakistan’s official Facebook page is already filling up with teasers about the V80 Max and its ability to sustain a 1.8-meter fall. That’s the main feature of this phone. It’s quite durable. TUV SUD tested this phone for an IP64 rating and 1.8m drop resistance.
The design looks exactly like the Galaxy S25 Plus, at least from the back. The camera stack has three lenses floating on the backplate with no raised plateau. The design is neat, but it’s not original. Anyway, the cameras include a single 50MP main shooter and two decorative lenses.

There’s a 16MP selfie shooter on the front of ZTE's new Nubia model. It fits into a notch, by the way, which is cleverly concealed by the wallpaper in the rendered images. You can still see it if you zoom in. The screen itself is a 6.9” IPS LCD. They advertise a 120Hz refresh rate for it, though it’s still an HD+ 720p panel.

Nubia phones have finally started to adopt Android 16. The V80 Max is their first phone in the Pakistani market with that OS. They’ve crammed multiple features into the software from their Nubia AI suite. And it’s all running on a Unisoc T7250 (12 nm) chip.

The performance will be on the lower end. They didn’t cheap out on the RAM, though. Nubia V80 Max has 8GB with either 128GB or 256GB storage. Not sure which variant will arrive in Pakistan, we’ll update the information on our WhatMobile spec sheet below.
Nubia V80 Max also has a fingerprint sensor. It’s on the power button, which is the signature Nubia orange color. The battery here is a 6000mAh pack with 22.5W wired charging support. They guarantee 4-year battery health on the V80 Max. The page says it has precise lane-level GPS accuracy. The phone went on sale in Europe for 100 EUR (~PKR 32,000). The Pakistani price should be in the ballpark.
