Xiaomi has teased on its social media the arrival of a new Poco model in Pakistan. The device hasn’t been specified yet but based on an educated guess, it would either be Poco X2 or the Poco F2 Pro. We’ll recount both.

Poco F2 Pro

The Poco F2 Pro features a motorized pop-up camera up front and a quad-camera organized in an X-shaped layout and a round rear-camera bump. Poco calls this aesthetic ‘the symmetric X and the O’ design.

A silver outline bounds this housing with an LED flash on it. The rear-shell us curved, polished, and chamfered available in Cyber Grey, Electric Purple, Phantom White, and Neon Blue. For added protection against falls, Poco has layered both panels in Corning Gorilla Glass.

The screen is 6.67” that produces an FHD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Thanks to a design free of an intrusive notch or a punch-hole, the phone reaches an impressive 92.7% screen-to-body ratio.

The Poco F2 Pro does justice to its ‘Pro’ title. It’s equipped with next-gen LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor powers the phone and built into it, is a 5G antenna, a Kyro 585 CPU and an Adreno 650 GPU. It uses a multilayered liquid cooling technology to manage the heat.

The battery inside has a 4,700 mAh capacity that can be recharged with 33W QC4.0+ charging. You can pick from 8GB + 256GB and 6GB + 128GB RAM and storage configurations.

The quad-camera on the back features a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, a 5MP telemacro lens, a 13MP ultra wide-angle 123º camera, and a 2MP depth-assist lens. The tele camera can zoom in up to 2x without any loss in quality, and the setup lets you shoot in 8k. The camera mounted on the pop-up system uses a 20MP sensor. WhatMobile expects the F2 Pro to start at Rs. 93,999.

Poco X2

The Poco X2 is another budget flagship. It features a quad-camera grouped inside a vertical housing that’s surrounded by a glossy circular figure. The rear shell itself has a flowing polished design that comes in Phoenix Red, Atlantis Blue, and Matrix Purple.

The screen is 20:9 tall, FHD+, and delivers an exceptional 120Hz refresh rate. Punched in the right corner in a pill-shape, it measures 6.67”. The build is splash-proof and has a thumbprint reader mounted on the side.

Under its hood, the Snapdragon 730G processor is combined with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. And a 4,500 mAh battery with 27W fast charging powers this setup.

The quad-camera on the back features a 64MP main camera, a 2MP macro, a 2MP depth, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. It might retail for Rs. 34,999.
