Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 4G is the alleged cheaper substitute for Note 12 5G. We have seen Redmi 4G model pass multiple certifications while under testing in different regions. Nothing noteworthy came up from certifiers. However, Geekbench has turned the tide revealing several vital details about the phone. Here's a quick look.

The stated model number on the document belongs to Redmi Note 12 4G. On the motherboard, coded "Bengal," the phone will mount an octa-core 4G-ready SoC, entry-level memory capacity, and the latest Android operating system.

Combining four power cores at 2.8-Ghz and four efficiency cores at 1.9-GHz with 4GB memory capacity, the phone scores 422 points on a single and 1252 points on the multi-core test. The architecture resembles Snapdragon 680 chipset, likely with an overclocked frequency.

By default, the latest budget Xiaomi mobile will run Redmi's latest UI built on Android 13 OS, and handling the graphics will be Snapdragon's Adreno 610 GPU. The scores on the file are results from Geekbench 6.0. Depending on the benchmark version users might download on their phones, the result may vary.

The Rumor mill has spilled the newcomer's details multiple times. Redmi NOTE 12 4G will likely inherit specs from its 5G counterpart. A 6.67-inch FULL HD+ AMOLED display bearing a refresh rate of 120Hz. The rear 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera will pair with a front 13MP selfie camera.

The booster under its shell is 5000mAh battery sporting 33W fast charging via a Type-C Plug. Furthermore, the newcomer will likely have a side-facing fingerprint reader and an infrared sensor. Again, these details are speculative; we suggest taking them with a hint of sarcasm.
