Xiaomi has silently dropped a brand-new device in China, dubbed Xiaomi Redmi 13R 5G. While the announcement may seem low-key, the specs are anything but ordinary, offering a blend of futuristic design and powerful specs. Here’s a lowdown of everything the newcomer offers.

The Redmi 13R 5G shares a likeness with its sibling, the Redmi 13C 5G, tailor-made for the Chinese market. Under the hood, it packs the powerful Dimensity 6100+ chipset, known for its blazing-fast performance. The single memory configuration of 4GB RAM and 128GB storage provides ample space for the user's digital assets.

Equipped with a dual-5G setup, the Redmi 13R 5G accommodates two SIM cards and a microSD slot in a sleek tray. The device boasts a 6.74-inch LCD with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, elevating your visual experience.

On the camera front, the 50MP AI Cam captures moments with clarity. The only noticeable difference between the Redmi 13C 5G and its Chinese counterpart lies in the camera design, featuring a distinct black rectangular accent spanning edge-to-edge on the back of Xiaomi 5G latest model.

A hefty 5,000mAh battery powers this beauty with 18W charging support, although it comes with a 10W adapter within the box. Color options include Black, Green, and Purple hues, aptly named “Star Trail,” and three “dreamy colors” in the Chinese market.

The price tag of CNY 999 (approximately $140/€130) positions the Xiaomi Redmi 13R 5G as an enticing mid-range contender. It’s still uncertain when pre-orders will kick off in China, but the company plans to announce the dates soon.
