Xiaomi Poco F6 vs Realme GT 6T; Feature Showdown of Pakistan's Upcoming Premium Mid-rangers

Usama Rasool

Xiaomi Poco F6 went global not too long ago. Its direction will officially and imminently lead it to Pakistan. There's no second thought about it. But did you know Realme has a competitor for it on standby? Realme GT 6T will soon enter the ring after Poco F6 debuts here. We don't mind the competition. But let us help you decide what phone to buy. Take a look at this quick comparison.

Display Stats

Poco F6 is more pocketable than the GT 6T. Smaller AMOLED 6.67-inch display with 1.5k resolution and a 120hz refresh; all mesh well with its price. Also, this one has a bright 2400-nit panel.

One trait that gives GT 6T an edge over F6 is LTPO AMOLED. It will save you some battery. Realme GT 6T is 1.5k resolution 120Hz with 6000nits brightness. But the next category is a mega win for Poco F6.

Performance

Poco F6 will be Pakistan's pride and joy as the first-ever local phone with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. You may know already. It sits a cut below Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. That will give you a boost in Gaming and UI performance like no other phone.

Realme GT 6T ranks just under it with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. There's UFS 4.0 quick storage aboard both phones (except the Realme GT 6T base option with UFS 3.1).

Photography

50 MP primary shooters with OIS and 8MP ultrawide; both phones carry similar stats on paper. But, the sensors under those cameras may not be the same quality on Poco F6 and GT 6T. We know that F6 has a Sony IMX882.

Realme GT 6T carries a new Sony LYT-600 by contrast. No one can tell which camera does better without tests. But selfie cameras are a different story. F6 bags a 20MP front sensor. GT 6T does 32MP selfies.

Battery and Charging

Poco F6 does well in this category. It will run a whole day without charge with its 5000 mAh cell. 90W charging backs it up when it depletes. But Realme GT 6T has 120W fast charging. And it pairs that with a 5500 mAh cell. So this one is a win for GT 6T.

Software, Pricing, and More

Android 14 is the foundation of their operating systems (Realme UI 5 and HyperOS). Realme GT 6T will promise you three years of OS and four years of security updates. And so will Poco F6.

Put all that aside. Value for money is a straight win for Poco F6 because it will be cheaper for the 8/256GB option at PKR 94,000 (likely). But Realme GT 6T will be about PKR 103,000 for an 8/128GB option.
