Xiaomi Poco F5 Series Officially Announced; Pricing Details Unveiled Alongside Specifications

The F5 Duo by Poco takes the internet by storm, as the company has announced both flagship variants for retail globally. Soon, the Poco F5 Pro will become official in Europe, and the standard F5 will start its journey from one of the Asian Markets. The segmented launch cycle for both devices will keep the buzz going for a while on media.


Xiaomi Poco F5 5G

The standard Poco variant sports a whopping 12Gigs of memory with color options including Electric Blue, Snowstorm White, and Carbon Black. The phone also has a lower-end configuration with 8Gigs of memory for budget-conscious consumers, though in both cases, 256Gigs of storage comes as default. 


In other specifications, the Vanilla F5 device has Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 SoC based on 4nm processing and a 5000mAh battery rechargeable via rapid 67W power brick. Behind the shell lies a 64MP primary camera stabilized with hardware (OIS). Assisting cameras include 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro shooter. 

The highlighting feature of this device is a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Also located on the rims are the 3.5mm audio port and a fingerprint reader embedded in the power key. Poco F5 5G will start at a meager price of 365 USD (~PKR 104,000).

Xiaomi Poco F5 Pro 

The F5 Pro is more versatile than its counterpart featuring 8+128GB, 12+256GB, and 12+512GB of memory configurations. Its screen has 1440p QHD+/2K resolution combined with 480Hz touch sampling rate and 120Hz refresh rate. It’s also decent in size, boasting a 6.67” AMOLED panel with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.


Flip the phone over to find a sizable primary lens featuring a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor followed by an 8MP ultra-wide 120-degree FOV lens and a 2MP depth mapper. For selfies, a 16MP shooter endows its punch-hole cutout in the screen.

With a slightly extended 5160mAh battery, the Poco F5 Pro backs a wired 67W charging support and a wireless 30W input, making it the company’s first-ever wireless-charging phone. Moreover, the phone’s energy-efficient Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip will help run the phone for extended periods. Its retail will begin at 449 USD (~PKR 128,000) for the base 8GB variant.
