Xiaomi Poco F5 Pro Tipped with Specifications; Expect 2K OLED & Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU

Vanilla and Pro Redmi K60 variants remain exclusive to China. To introduce them in the global markets, Xiaomi will rebrand both models to Xiaomi Poco F5 Pro and F5. Their impending launch has triggered a series of breaks, exposing vital details on core specifications. 


Yogesh Brar, a well-known figure in the leak circle, has divulged some info about the upcoming Poco F5 Pro, causing a stir among tech enthusiasts eagerly awaiting its release. In his latest Tweet are some of the phone’s anticipated specifications, display stats, and SoC details. Have a look.

On the surface level, Poco F5 Pro rocks a high-resolution 2K OLED panel. In addition to its 6.67-inch dimension, the display features a smooth refresh rate of 120Hz and a curved design. Many will hail the device as a flagship killer thanks to its SoC.


Atop the phone’s motherboard resides Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, the ultimate Android SoC from 2022. Its Memory hub will include 8GB - 12GB RAM and 256Gigs of storage. Inside its extensive camera island, the new Xiaomi Poco mobile will feature 64MP OIS stabilized primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and 2MP macro lens.


Xiaomi will grace Poco F5 Pro with the Android 13 Operating system, MIUI 14 Skin, Stereo speakers, in-display biometric ID, 5500mAh cell, and 67W fast charging. The phone will take selfies using a 16MP front-facing camera. Leaked specs from Brar align with Redmi K60, which means likely designs and essential features.


Poco F5 Pro is to go official as a rebranded Redmi K60. Poco F5 will be in the slot below, rebranded from Redmi K60E. Redmi K60 Pro is likely to remain China-exclusive. The company has yet to announce the global launch of the series; online hints indicate it shouldn’t take long.
