Amid the up-and-coming mid-range smartphones, Vivo Y78+ is getting much attention from the leak-verse. It's all set to bring a couple of upgrades over its forerunner Y77. The phone recently appeared on TENAA, disclosing its 5000mAh battery capacity. Just yesterday, its 3C certification went live, revealing the charging speed. Here are all the new details.

Per the 3C certification, Vivo Y78 Plus (model V227A) will support 44W fast charging. Though a small detail, it confirms that the phone will have an upgraded charging system compared to its predecessor, the Y77, which only supports 18W charging speed.

Coupled with the charging kit, the TENAA listing for Y78 Plus showed that the phone has a 4900mAh battery capacity. Typical to market routine, Vivo will likely advertise it as 5000mAh, rounding off the end figure. From the listing, we can also verify that the phone has three cameras.

TENAA and 3C, both certifying agencies, originate in China. It goes to verify that the phone will debut in the Chinese market. Since none of the international platforms have listed the device, the phone will likely remain China-exclusive. Additionally, the Vivo price list will likely determine how competitive the new device is with other phones in its price range.

Some believe Y78+'s slightly trimmed version, the vanilla Vivo Y78, might set foot in the global smartphone market. These are all the details we could ascertain from the certifications. It's important to note that the company hasn't verified the device's existence.

More details on Vivo Y78 and Y78 Plus will surface online soon to verify the phone's specifications. These certification sightings are mere hints that the phone is in the works. Most of the phone's details and launch date remain a mystery. We'll add an update as soon as anything new comes up.
