Tech channels on the internet are abuzz with the latest findings on the Vivo Y78+. The phone has been under the rumor mill’s radar for quite a while now, and we also discovered traces of it on TENAA and 3C certification platforms. It has surfaced yet again, this time with a Geekbench scoresheet. Have a look.

The benchmark site has listed the phone under the model number V2271A, designated the moniker Vivo Y78+ 5G. The test result not only marked the phone’s performance but also gave away critical specs at the phone’s core.

For the company’s mid-standard Y catalog, Vivo Y78 Plus seems extraordinary, having 12Gigs of RAM and 256Gigs of built-in storage. Adding 5G capabilities to the phone is a Snapdragon 695 chip featuring the required antenna bands.

Depending on the Global or Chinese variant, Y78 Plus will bear Funtouch OS 13 or Origin OS 3, both operating on Android 13. The engine inside has a boost clock speed of 2.21 GHz, and thanks to Qualcomm’s new architecture, it boasts a multi-core of 1976 and a single-core score as high as 670 points. It is going to be a brand new addition to the Vivo rate list.

While these aren’t the highest-ever score, they are deemed competitive for a device belonging to the mid-range segment. That about wraps up the details from the Geekbench listing. Here’s everything we discovered about phone building up to this point.

Number one, we discovered the phone’s TENAA listing that spilled its battery pack capacity at 5000mAH: number two, the 3C certification from where we concluded that the phone has a 44W charging kit. From the looks of it, Y78+ might go official in the native land, China, before entering any other global market.
