Vivo is back with a fresh addition to its Y-series smartphone lineup, the brand-new Vivo Y27s. These Y-series devices have carved a niche in the mid-range smartphone market, offering a blend of style and functionality. While the Y27s may resemble its Y27 5G sibling, it's packing some exciting differences.

At the forefront of the Y27s is a 6.64-inch IPS screen delivering an FHD+ resolution, promising sharp and detailed visuals. While the screen size and resolution match the Y27 5G, the Y27s enhances it with a 90Hz refresh rate.

Plus, it sports a trendy punch-hole cutout for the 8MP selfie shooter, replacing the waterdrop notch found on its predecessor. Since it does not include an OLED display, the Y27s opts for a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, neatly integrated into its power button.

Beneath the surface, the Y27s mounts a Snapdragon 680 chipset, a well-regarded mid-range performer that offers a reliable user experience. The latest budget Vivo mobile is paired with a generous 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage, with the added flexibility of a dedicated SD card slot.

The Y27s continues the camera tradition with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor, staying in line with its Y27 5G and Y27 counterparts. What sets it apart is its IP54 rating, making it more resilient in challenging conditions.

Running on Funtouch OS, based on Android 13, the Vivo Y27s ensures a smooth and feature-packed interface. Powering this device is a robust 5000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. Available in elegant Garden Green and Burgundy Black color options, the device starts at $153 (~PKR 43,000) for a 128GB variant.
