Vivo Y200e 5G Specs & Price Leaked Ahead of Launch; Sub-250$ Phone with 120Hz AMOLED

Vivo is poised to make a splash with the upcoming Vivo Y200e 5G, and the rumor mill reports some of the phone’s key specifications and pricing details. The leak, courtesy of tipster Abhishek Yadav, suggests that the Y200e 5G will offer a compelling blend of features, making it a premium contender for the entry-level market.


The rumored specifications hint at the Y200e being a refined version of the Y100 5G, recently introduced in Indonesia. Set to compete with rivals like Oppo A79, Samsung Galaxy A15, and OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, the Y200e will likely carve a niche with uncommon attributes.

According to the leak, the Y200e employs a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display featuring vibrant colors with up to 1200 nits of brightness. At its core, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset powers the device, with a choice of 6GB or 8GB of RAM, making for a noteworthy configuration.


The the latest 5G Vivo mobile may also provide up to 8GB of extended RAM and 128GB of storage with a system running the latest Android 14. Packed within is a robust 5,000mAh battery supported by 44W fast charging. For photography enthusiasts, the Y200e is to receive a 16MP selfie camera on the front and a versatile rear camera setup. 


The back panel may host a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a flicker sensor, promising crisp and detailed shots at night. Aesthetically pleasing, the Y200e flaunts a leather back finish, maintaining a sleek profile with a thickness of only 7.79mm. 

The leak suggests two Y200e variants: the Diamond Black measured 185 grams and the Saffron Delight model at 191 grams. Priced at ~240 USD, the Vivo Y200e 5G will likely position as a semi-mid-range contender.
