Vivo Y18s Unveiled with 6GB RAM, Helio G85, Android 14, and 5000mAh Battery

Vivo Y18s is a new phone from the company that just hit our radar. It's squeezed in really tight between Y18 and Y18e. It's design's familiar, and the specs are almost the same. Renewal is our guess so the device can reach untapped markets outside China. Vietnam is the first market to welcome it.

Lucky for us, its hardware portfolio was wide open on the official page. There's a 6.56" very common IPS panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. And you might've already seen it coming: an HD+ 720p resolution. Vivo Y18s also has an 8MP selfie unit under the upper melting forehead on the screen.

Its chin and forehead might not be as great to look at. But still, it's putting down a decent performance internally. Y18s' chip is Helio G85 (2.0GHz), calibrated to run Android 14. FunTouch OS 14 agrees with this Helio G85 and 6GB combo.

Another approvable feature of the Vivo 4G latest mobile is its camera system. It has one 50MP driver on the back and a second 0.08MP assistant. You get a dual vertical lens array sitting on a rectangular protrusion. An IP54 rating confirms a tight seal on the chassis.

And what's not to love about Y18s' 5000mAh battery that runs the show, right? It plugs into a 15W fast charge input. NFC is missing here, but Wifi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and MicroSD slot work. Vivo confirms its 6+128GB memory combo for Vietnam. But there's nothing official yet about its price. No one can say for sure when they plan to reveal it.
