Vivo V70 Lite 4G and Y05e Appear on FCC Database with Battery & Storage

Two Vivo phones were registered on the FCC site recently, and one of them appears to be from the V70 lineup. This series hasn’t been completed yet, as there’s still a Vivo V70 Lite 4G missing from the picture. The certification is proof that the device will launch soon. This is everything we have on the V70 Lite so far. We’ll also talk about the Vivo Y05e ahead.

It appears that the Vivo V70 Lite 4G has been assigned the model code V2604. FCC certification doesn’t say much about the handset beyond that, except the battery capacity, which is 7,920 mAh (true rating). They’ll probably end up rounding it off as an 8,000 mAh or 8,100 mAh cell.

This Vivo 4G new mobile has no 5G support like the other V70 models. That was made clear from the name itself. The IMEI sticker threw in one more detail that might be of interest. The phone is going to have at least a 256GB storage option with 8GB RAM.

We’ll take this certification as a sign of a global launch that would probably start in the US. That’s the certifier’s base of operations. By the way, this wasn’t the only phone they greenlit recently. There was also a listing for the Vivo Y05e that has almost the same model numbers.

The Y05e is apparently being addressed as V2606 in the FCC certification. It wasn’t made clear if the Y05e is 5G or not, but it’s definitely an entry-tier phone stuck at 64GB base storage and 4GB RAM only. The file also had its battery specs.

There’s a battery here with a true rating of 5,050 mAh. Of course, they won’t advertise that number as is. This Y05e model will round that out to 5,200 mAh. By the way, both phones are supposed to carry the Android 16 Origin OS 6 out of the box. You’ll want to keep track of these devices. If so, keep watching the news for updates.
