Vivo got rid of the Pro model after the V40 series, but it seems that position will be filled by the Vivo V70 Elite this year. This is definitely a more powerful device than the basic Vivo V70. There’s already an official pre-release product listing out there for the Elite, but Geekbench revealed its true performance.
Vivo V70 Elite was just tested on Geekbench, and the platform captured more than the performance scores and model numbers. Vivo V2548 is written at the top, which we know is the code for Vivo V70 Elite, thanks to previous certifications. Right below are the performance figures.
Vivo V70 Elite can output 1,937 points in the single-core test on Geekbench v6.5. The Multicore test run averages at around 4,863 points. These are decent numbers, and they really show potential for a flagship-grade performance from the latest Vivo Elite model.
There was more data on the scorecard, like the RAM and OS. The test was done on a 12GB RAM option, by the way. And the default operating system on this newcomer is Android 16, OriginOS 6. Geekbench touted that the CPU is a 3.01GHz SoC, but Vivo has already confirmed it’s a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
This new-in-the-line SoC scored 1.8 million points on AnTuTu, and it’s partially because of the LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Vivo gave up the camera setup early. The Elite is supposed to use a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor.
There’s also a 50MP telephoto camera on this newcomer with a Sony IMX882 outsole under it. And the selfie is also 50MP. We may see a base 8GB RAM and 256GB storage options on the Elite. They’ve also put a 6500mAh battery within, and it plugs into a 90W adapter.
We also know that V70 Elite’s display is an OLED 120Hz panel. The size is 6.59,” and the resolution would be 1.5K. The local peak brightness on this screen will reach 5,000 nits. They’ve secured an IP69 rating for this newcomer, and an X linear Haptic motor is mounted inside for haptic feedback.
