Vivo's rumored V27 series has now confirmed its existence through a listing. The lineup allegedly includes a standard Vivo V27, V27 Pro, and the cheapest V27e. The standard model just got indexed on the Geekbench database giving away its core specs. Have a look.

The benchmark reveals model number V2246, which the community believes fits V27's description. The database also states that the phone draws power from an SoC dubbed "MT6886V." The codename indicates a MediaTek chip but does not specify its model.

Apart from the mysterious codename, Geekbench gave away the SoC's architecture; It runs on two clusters boasting six efficiency cores at 2.0 GHz and two performance cores at 2.8 GHz. The model V2246, AKA Vivo V27, will likely bring an integrated Mali-G610 MC4 GPU hooked with upto 12GB RAM.

The latest Vivo V mobile's default OS will be an Android 13 x Funtouch OS 13 right out of the box. Tested on Geekbench 5, Vivo V27 scores 845 points on a single core and 2217 points on all eight. The performance is not flagship; however, it should compete well with other phones from the same tier.

The rest of Vivo V27's specs remain a mystery, but the rumor mill claims it has high-end Sony sensors for the cameras, with improved night photography. In design, it will have Vivo's patent color changing back and likely an AMOLED curved panel on the front.

Speculative claims also state that Vivo might rebrand its S16, S16 Pro, and S16e to V27, Vivo V27 Pro, and V27e, thus bringing the same designs, screens, and specs. But there's no confirmation. Allegedly, the most basic configuration of the Pro model will cost roughly 500 dollars, which is too high a price for a Vivo V model.
