Vivo V17 Receives a Massive Price Cut in Pakistan; Quad Cameras and Flagship Killer Specs at Rs 54,999

Vivo is now offering its mid-range model -- the Vivo V17, with a huge discount. The punch-hole-touting phone was launched back in December and it runs on a Snapdragon 675 platform. Here’s the scoop.

The V17 was originally retailing for 59,999 PKR, and after Vivo knocked off 5,000 PKR off it, the sub-flagship is now available for only 54,999 PKR. It comes in Crystal Black and Crystal Sky color options featuring a camera-centric design.

You’re looking at a 6.44-inch FHD+ iView Display that houses a cut-out for the front-facing camera on its top-right corner. Vivo has trimmed the bezels to the edges, so the screen delivers an immersive 91.38% screen-to-body ratio and a tall 20:9 aspect ratio at unbelievably low Vivo Prices. Underneath this display lies a next-gen 3P-lens fingerprint scanner.

Flip it over, and you’ll be greeted by a quad-camera setup -- symmetrically arranged in an L-shaped layout. It seems familiar because recent Samsung designs feature an identical L-style camera design in a domino-looking bump. The roundings are soft and the rear-shell offers a glossy finish. Included in this optics setup are: a 48-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel Super-Ultra-Wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro and bokeh shooter duo. And since it’s a camera-first phone, you get a decent 32-megapixel front-facing camera to boot.

The design is eye-candy, but how does it fare performance-wise? Vivo picked a Snapdragon 675 chipset for the V17 and rounded it off with a hefty 8GB of memory and 256 GB of onboard storage. On paper, the Vivo V17 should give any mid-ranger released 2019 a run for its money. Not to mention Vivo’s exclusive dual-engine charging tech, that can charge the phone’s 4,500 mAh battery to full capacity in minutes.

And to augment this hardware, Vivo’s Funtouch OS 9.2 uses Multi-turbo optimization and Ultra Game Mode to improve response times and performance. With a pocket-friendly new Vivo price, flagship-tier hardware, and excellent camera performance, the Vivo V17 checks all the right boxes.
