As we already confirmed last week that Vivo is soon going to release the S1 smartphone in Pakistan, which will be very much different from the already existing Chinese variant of Vivo S1. Now, as the Vivo Pakistan is sharing teasers on social media, the upcoming device has also been spotted on Geekbench, enabling us to evaluate the overall performance of the device.
The Pakistani Variant of the Vivo S1 will be the World's first smartphone to be built on the MediaTek Helio P65 platform. A brand new Arm Mali-G52 GPU is also built-in to provide an upgraded gaming experience. The new Octa-core Architecture is claimed to deliver a 25 percent higher performance than the previous generations.
Geekbench shows the smartphone to be equipped with a MediaTek MT6768 chipset clocked at 1.70 GHz. The phone is represented by model number V1913A and has 6 GB of RAM while the Vivo S1 variant arriving in Pakistan is expected to come with 4GB of RAM. The handset supports the new Android 9 Pie OS out of the box.
The single-core test resulted in 1818 points while in the multi-core test, the Vivo S1 managed to score some 6019 points. The phone also appeared in CCC (China Compulsory Certificate) confirming support for 18W fast charging.
Earlier, A leaked image has already confirmed the smartphone to be equipped with 128 gigabytes of storage, 6.38 inch Super AMOLED display and a built-in fingerprint sensor that Vivo calls a "Screen Touch Id". The device is powered by a 4500mAh battery that also supports Dual-Engine fast charging.
In terms of Cameras, Vivo S1 has a triple camera setup on the back with 16MP main, 8 megapixels ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel depth sensors. On the front, there's a 32MP selfie snapper, residing in a small water-drop notch. Not just that but the S1 also features various AI features that help you create some stunning selfies.
The phone is expected to launch soon in Pakistan, in July. As far as the price of the Vivo S1 is concerned the 4GB variant of the phone just got launched in Indonesia at a price of 3,599 million Indonesian Rupiah, which converts to some 41,000 Pakistani Rupees without tax.
