The Honor family is all set to welcome its new high-end smartphone. Honor View 20 or V20 as it'll be called in China, will get released in its country of origin on December 26. So honor is also saying goodbye to the notch jumping on the in-Display selfie camera bandwagon.

Thanks to the Huawei's official online store in China, VMall, unveiled the handset while taking the preorders, showing us its design for the first time along with its key technical specifications.

In a tweet by renowned leaker Roland Quandt, we can actually see the design of the Honor View 20 for the very first time, beyond the promotional posters that the company showed us in the past. Details such as the inclusion of a 48-megapixel sensor are also confirmed, suggesting the handset will bear a close resemblance to the Huawei Nova 4 launched a few days ago.

The most striking detail of the phone is its design. especially, the hole in the screen that accommodates the front camera. Huawei calls it Full View 3.0 as the in-Display selfie sensor has allowed Huawei to reduce the upper bezel to the minimum, though not much is done about the bottom one, so we'll continue seeing the bottom chin as it was in the earlier models.

As for the specifications are concerned, it will mount the new Kirin 980 processor, accompanied by 6GB of RAM. We also hope to see an in-display fingerprint reader just like the one in Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Just a day after the Christmas Honor will release View 20, its new commitment to the high-end price range.
