Ahead of its official unveiling, the design for the upcoming clamshell smartphone, the Tecno Phantom V Flip, has been leaked by a case maker. The handset is an extension that comes on the heels of Tecno's initial foray into the foldable smartphone sector with the Phantom V Fold, marking a significant milestone for the company.

According to leaked images, the Phantom V Flip will feature a circular cover display surrounded by two cameras and an LED flash. This unconventional layout sparks curiosity about the potential features of the O-shaped camera island. In a market saturated with similar designs, Tecno seems eager to make a standout statement with its upcoming device.

The renders also show a flat power button functioning as a fingerprint scanner. Interestingly, the feature will reside in the key as a textured surface rather than integrating into the screen. Furthermore, the phone will have a punch-hole selfie camera, and the bottom will house a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.

It's important to note that these images stem from the leaked schematic renders. While they accurately depict the placement and dimensions of functional elements, the final product may vary in terms of finish and texture.

Further details about the Phantom V Flip will emerge soon, giving us a clearer picture of what Tecno aims to bring to the foldable smartphone market. Given the company’s record of producing affordable handsets, the new Tecno Flip mobile will likely bear a cost-efficient price tag.

Since the leak suggests a near-future release, tech enthusiasts and fans of the brand eagerly await official confirmation and further details from Tecno. We’ll keep an eye out for more updates as they become available. So stick around.
