Samsung Galaxy S27 Plus Charging Speed Confirmed Again by SGS Certification

Samsung Galaxy S27 Plus passed a new safety certification today. This is yet another official source that confirms the charging speed. We’ve had this information ever since 3C China passed the S27 Plus in September. SGS revalidated the same fact. This is everything you should know.

The newcomer has 45W charging. This was confirmed again by SGS today, just a month after the Chinese 3C certification. You won’t see the exact figure in the file. It’s actually disguised. We did the math, and it turns out there’s 45W input on the Galaxy S27 Plus. Just multiply the numbers 15 V DC and 3.0 A in the ratings section.

SGS database had two filings for the Galaxy S27 Plus, and they basically covered all international versions. And yes, there’s no disparity. All have 45W charging speed. Global SM-S956B is probably the one that would end up in Pakistan.

SM-S956N is the one for the Korean market. There’s the USA version too, AKA SM-S956U. China and Japan probably have the SM-S9560 and SC-52H model codes for the same phone. 45W is the exact speed the Galaxy S26 Plus had last year, and the S25 Plus before it.

The charging input is basically static since the S22+. The same goes for the S27, which will carry over 25W charging from the older S26. The upper phones have larger cells now. Maybe the battery will get bigger on the S27 Plus as well, but it’s just a theory.

These newcomers definitely have the new SoCs. S27 Plus and the basic S27 could get the Exynos 2700 in most regions. The stock will be mixed with a Snapdragon version. That’s the norm, at least. They could streamline the group because there’s now a Galaxy S27 Pro in the mix. We have our eyes on all four devices. Keep watching the news for more updates.
