The big upgrade next year would be the battery. The Galaxy A37 had the same bog-standard 5000mAh cell they’ve been cramming into phones for years. That’s why we are glad to report a new leak from GalaxyClub. The source predicted a 20% bigger battery on the Samsung Galaxy A38.

Not many changes are coming to the A38. Certainly not in the camera department. But it seems the battery has grown by 20% on this handset. GalaxyClub wrote in their publication that the Galaxy A38’s true cell rating is 5882mAh. And that’s a big jump.
They would probably market a round number. So the spec sheet will show a 6000mAh battery on this Samsung new A mobile. No, it’s not going to be Si/C. Samsung isn’t that confident about this tech yet. Maybe we’ll see something like that later. But all this does beg the question.

Is it just the A38? It’s safe to bet that the A58 might also end up with more capacity. 6000mAh is as good a guess as any. But we’d rather wait for more sources to verify this theory first and then make the claim. Anyhow, there are no other major changes, not on the camera at least.

Galaxy A38 won’t have a zoom camera. The main lens would be a 50MP unit with OIS and PDAF. And then comes the 8MP ultrawide. The least-used camera will be the 5MP macro lens. And there’s a possibility of a 12MP selfie camera here.
The prices would creep up again. We’ve been seeing a pattern here, and the reports line up. Europe had the A36 at €379 just last year. Then the A37 climbed up to €429 this year, which they later raised to €469. Samsung Galaxy A38 will be no less than €500. Keep watching the news for more updates.
