In yesterday's tech spectacle in China, Xiaomi rolled out the red carpet for its next-gen Redmi Note series, accompanied by a slew of other gadgets. The event’s main attraction was the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, a high-caliber beast ascending last year’s Note 12 Pro+. The newcomer brings trailblazing features, especially in the display arena.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ variant champions a broad 6.67-inch AMOLED display, central-punch hole design, and a stellar 1.5K resolution. Its visuals scream fluidity with 120Hz refresh speeds and a peak luminance of 1,800 nits. The cherry on top is the HDR10, Dolby Vision, and an under-screen fingerprint reader in the Note series.

Aesthetically, it's a delightful detour from the cliché. Kissing goodbye to the camera island, it embraces traditionally aligned sensors atop a faux leather chassis, jazzed up with dual hues and an IP68 resilience against dust, water, and other elements.

To capture your precious moments, the Noye 13 Pro+ features a whopping 200MP Samsung ISOCELL Primary sensor, flanked by an 8MP ultra-wide and a versatile 2MP third lens, flaunting in-sensor optical zoom ability. On the front, the latest Xiaomi 5G model offers a punch-hole 16MP selfie shooter.

Pumping life into the Note 13 Pro+ is MediaTek’s Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset, paired with up to a mammoth 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, a 5,000mAh energy backup, and a whopping 120W charging kit. It sails on MIUI 14 x Android 13 and bristles with connectivity features.

As for the price, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ starts at CNY 1,999 (~$273/PKR 79,000), with the top-tier priced at CNY 2,299 (~$314/PKR 91,000). Xiaomi plans to open retail of the new device on September 26 in China, after which the company might begin planning for deployment in other global markets.
