Realme X is coming soon with a Pop-UP Selfie Camera and an All-screen notch-less display

The OPPO sub-brand is on fire these days, After Launching the Realme 3 in Pakistan and Realme 3 Pro in India, the company is now working on Realme X, a truly bezel-less smartphone that has a pop-up selfie camera instead of a notch.


The phone was already circulating in the leaks with the model number RMX1901 but we were not sure about its name yet. Today, An official post was shared on Chinese social media Weibo by Realme CMO, Mr. Xu Qi, unveiling the device name to be Realme X.

The phone was also teased in a realme theme song released just yesterday. Back then we didn't know if the notch-less all screen phone shown in the video with a pop-up camera, was actually a Realme X. The smartphone delivers a true bezel-less all screen punch with an in-display fingerprint scanner as apparently, the images released on TENAA does not show a biometric sensor on the back.

Realme X packs a big 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a high screen to body ratio however images do show the bottom bezel to be noticeably thicker. The overall thickness of the phone is just 9.4mm while the overall dimensions are mentioned as 161.2 x 76 x 9.4mm. The phone comes with a 3,680mAh battery and also has a 3.5mm audio jack.


Moving to the back, The phone features a Dual camera setup, nicely aligned in the middle of the gradient finished back. Complete color options are not yet disclosed but by looking at the images, we can say Blue and black colours are confirmed.

There's no official word on the Realme X launch dates yet but the sources confirm that it will be released next month, in China first and then it will be making its way to other countries like India and hopefully Pakistan.
