Realme Note 70 Listed on Google Play Console with Basic Hardware and 720p Display

We recently covered a Realme Note 70 retailer page revealing everything about it. Claiming to be the Note 60 successor, it was spotted with model number "RMX5313." Now, the Google Play console has listed the same model but under a different name and with downgraded specs. Meet the all-new Realme Note 70.

The non-T device is supposed to be the cheapest version among the two, or at least that’s what the specs indicate on the GPC listing. There seems to be a Unisoc UMS9230 chip at the heart of the Note 70 (RMX5313), normally addressed as the Unisoc Tiger T606.

This is possibly the cheapest SoC in the industry, designed to run a modern Android phone. That means our Note 7 here is at the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to performance. To make matters even worse, GPC showed that it only has 4GB of RAM to go with it.

Companies usually circumvent this kind of situation by giving such devices the Android Go (lightweight) OS, but GPC hints at a full-fledged Android 15 on the Realme Note new model, so the performance might take a hit. There were some more details hidden in the console listing.

If you look closely at the resolution part, you will see that Note 70 has a 720p HD+ panel, possibly an IPS LCD, which is a step below the Note 70T’s 1080p AMOLED. XpertPricks, the publication that originally spotted the Google Play Console listing, seems to believe these siblings are bound for different markets.

We believe these phones are meant for entirely different segments, so there must be more to them than just a territorial disparity. At any rate, we’re bound to see some more leaks on both devices before they officially hit the global market.

Realme Note 60, the predecessor of both these devices, was released in the market in August last year. So, assuming the timeline hasn’t changed, the Note 70 and Note 70T might also launch next month. Stay tuned if you want to keep track of both these devices as they approach their imminent launch.
