Oppo Reno 4 Pro Global Edition Featured In Leaked Renders, Shows a Quad-camera Setup and New Colors

The first set of early renders for the upcoming Oppo Reno 4 Pro Global edition have just surfaced on the web, giving us a preview of the new Reno 4 Pro with its quad-camera. In addition to the revised camera setup, the Reno 4 Pro has a different color palette than its Chinese counterpart. Here’s a closer look.

Unlike the far more vibrant, sparkly paint jobs the Chinese Reno 4 Pro debuted with, the international variant features more muted Black and White tones at a somewhat similar Oppo price tag.

The camera island is lengthened to accommodate the extra camera and has the same uniform shade as the rest of the shell. It’s still polished and glossy, but the giant ‘Reno Glow’ lettering is gone.

The front AMOLED panel of the Pro variant of Oppo Reno 4 melts into the edges and is punched in a corner. It extends 6.55” from one corner to the other, delivering an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Speculation points at the same 48MP camera on the back, but the details for the other three lenses are still a mystery. However, based on an educated guess, they should include a telephoto, an ultra-wide, and either a macro or a depth lens.

Design changes aside, Oppo is watering down the internals to 4G only. Instead of the 5G-powered Snapdragon 765G processor, the global variant uses the previous-gen LTE-only Snapdragon 720G platform. The iconic 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charging technology that recharges its 4,000 mAh battery in only 36 minutes, however, is carried over.

The RAM could go up to 12GB, paired with 256GB if the original variant is the guide to that combination. The Reno 4 duo will go official on July 31, and WhatMobile expects the ‘Pro’ version to start from Rs. 109,999.
