Oppo A92s Makes an Appearance in Leaked Promo Posters; Meet the Next Unannounced Oppo Sub-Flagship

A string of leaks has given us the color options, pricing details, display, and camera specifications for the upcoming Oppo A92s. The leaks come in the form of promotional posters that describe not only the design but also shed light on the few notable features of this upper-mid-ranger, along with the Oppo Prices.

As per the promos, the Oppo A92s will debut with a 120Hz display and support for 5G connectivity. If this leak pans out, it will make the A92s the first A-series smartphone to offer a refresh rate that high or support for 5G.

The display itself will have a pill-style hole cutout in its top-left corner to house a dual front camera. It measures 6.57 inches, with side bezels so thin you can barely make them out.

As impressive the front design may be, it still is a pretty cookie cutter for a 2020 sub-flagship. The rear-shell design, however, is a bit more interesting (that is to say more innovative). A squircle camera bump lies in the top left corner of the polished back-facing panel. Inside this bump, lies a second diagonal camera housing (for want of a better word). The four cameras inside the camera island, each occupy a corner of the ‘X’ that you see inside it, while the LED flash lies in the center of it.

The three editions shown side-by-side, present the phone in white, black, and pink shades. You can also spot a side-mounted thumbprint reader, that will double as the power button. The rear camera is a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP combination, rounded off by a 16MP + 2MP dual front camera, as per the phone leaker Digital Chat Station.

Oppo has opted for a MediaTek Dimensity 800 5G chip for A92s and paired it with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. It’ll start at CNY 2,499 (~59,000 PKR).

As Hinted in the poster the handset will carry an Oppo price tag of 2,499 Yuan that translates to some 58,000 Pakistani rupees without taxes. The Chinese manufacturer has yet to announce the product officially, so we can’t say with any certainty, when or if, Oppo A92s will launch in Pakistan.
